Having grown up in a family where a house isn't a home without a vast menagerie of animals, in her early forties Fran decided to leave a successful career in Formula 1 and Aerospace engineering to follow her passion. She was fortunate to spend 3 years as the operations manager of a large and successful local daycare and boarding kennels where she discovered exactly what she did (and didn't) love and knew how DFor could be unique. Now, Fran never goes to work, DFor is her happy place!
Often seen at DFor on the weekends with a bag full of tools and a list as long as his arm, Chris is the one making Fran's dream come true and ensuring both the cabin and the orchard is a safe and secure space for all DFor's visitors.
Originally a rescue from Cyprus, Lexi is the Queen of DFor and in charge of pack etiquette. A brilliant role model, she demands high standards of group behaviour and sets a great example for others to follow. Lexi is also in charge of greeting all human visitors and allowing them to practice stroking her head.
Also a rescue from Cyprus, Noodle is the little chocolate drop who proves you don't have to be clever to be kind or gentle. Often seen 'Noodling' and sporting his fetching lime green muzzle to stop him eating things he shouldn't. He excels at providing a calm and welcoming presence to new or nervous dogs and puppies alike.
The newest recruit to the DFor team Pip is another rescue from Cyprus. Although she may not be convinced by the British climate, she has flourished in her role as Chief of Play. An expert in zoomies and bouncing, she is always willing to lead even the most energetic DFor visitor in play.
